The project consortium gathered at Fraunhofer IKTS in the historic city of Dresden for its final review meeting, an important milestone marking the culmination of collaborative efforts and technical achievements across the project.

Renowned for its rich cultural heritage, baroque architecture, and strong scientific legacy, Dresden provided an inspiring setting to reflect on the project’s journey and outcomes. The meeting brought together all partners to assess results, demonstrate progress, and outline the path beyond the project’s completion.

Reflecting on Progress and Achievements

The meeting opened with a welcome from the hosting institution, followed by a guided tour of the Fraunhofer IKTS laboratories. Participants explored the institute’s cutting-edge facilities and gained insight into key technological developments achieved throughout the project.

In addition to its scientific excellence, Fraunhofer IKTS offered a unique environment where innovation meets culture. The institute’s premises feature artworks from local artists, creating a distinctive atmosphere that blends advanced research with regional creativity.

A central part of the meeting was the general session, where the consortium presented a comprehensive overview of the project’s results, major milestones, and overall impact.

The presence of the Project Officer, Mr. Athanasios Petridis, and the external reviewer, Mr. Carsten Scharleman,  was particularly significant for this final review. Their active participation enabled thorough evaluation, valuable feedback, and constructive discussions on the project’s outcomes, ensuring alignment with expectations and highlighting the project’s achievements.

The day concluded with a joint dinner, allowing partners to celebrate their collaboration and strengthen connections built throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Presentations and Final Assessment

The second day focused on detailed technical presentations from all work packages, showcasing the full scope of developments achieved during the project. Each partner contributed insights into their respective areas, highlighting innovations, lessons learned, and the maturity of the developed technologies.
